Woke up really unwell today and it’s just not shifting. I have a lot of symptoms of everything, like an upset stomach, blocked sinuses, bad headache, cough, cold, slight fever (I’m a bundle of joy, aren’t I?).
I know it’s possible for depression to actually cause physical problems because my dad (being a GP) told me so. I guess I’m inflicting a lot of stress on my body through aaaaall the feelingzzz. Also wondering if I need to up the citalopram due to everything hitting me so hard lately.
Has anyone had any experience with this? With physical symptoms as a result of depression, I mean?
It’s been a series of bad days that I’m struggling to cope with. My mental state is in the pits and I’m just wondering how much longer I have to endure this. I think it might be time to up the meds from 20mg. I just don’t know what to do. :(
I really wish people would get that telling a clinically depressed person that they have ‘nothing to be depressed about’ or that they need to just ‘snap out of it’ makes them so much worse. Do you not think we know we don’t have much to be depressed about? Do you not think that we want to ‘snap…
